Our Healthcare Services

General Gastroenterology/Hepatology

Differentiating the source of the problem can be difficult when symptoms can be generated similarly by different disease process.

Our specialists through careful history taking, assessing test and imaging results will guide the best course of action to provide the solution along with further investigations to confirm/exclude alternative diagnosis

Inflammatory bowel disease

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) not to be confused with Irritiable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a chronic inflammatory condition that causes inflammation in the digestive tract. The main subtypes are categoried into Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's disease.

Our specialists have subspeciality interest and  have expertise (through post fellowship training) in managing these complex diseases.

Motility

Whilst structural abnormalities may not exist,  the motor mechanics  ie the function of the gastrointestinal tract may be impaired due in many processes.

At Epping Gastroenterology, some of our specialists have additional expertise in manometry assessment to help guide and confirm whether the function is the source of the problem.
